With the abundance of lakes giving this area its name of the Lake District, the opportunities are there for you to learn to sail, windsurf and kayak or even hire a boat if you are already proficient. You can have fun building a raft or go dragon-boating!
Derwent Water is only a small walk from Howe Keld so you are perfectly located at our accommodation to experience everything the lake has to offer.
You can also experience ghyll scrambling, climbing or abseiling using the mountains and crags around Keswick. Loads of activities are always available for all levels a ability with fully qualified instructors.
