Luxury Rooms at Howe Keld

The luxury rooms at Howe Keld are as the name suggest rather special! Built within a modern, highly-insulated green timber framework,the rooms are spacious and high-ceilinged with an Alpine chalet style. All the beds are King-size or twin with 2000 pocket sprung mattresses made from cotton, silk and cashmere fillings. Each room has its own en-suite bathroom now with solid oak flooring - and feel lovely and warm!
The TVs are all 37 inch Panasonics and broadcast Freesat with HD pictures on the relevant channels.The picture quality is exceptional.
When we built the extension that houses these new rooms the architect designed them to be unique. If you like natural materials, you will love these rooms! Kirkstone slate, local oak, elm, beech and cherry on the floors, doors and walls are striking features. The combination of both an enamelled bath ( to enjoy that long soak) and a separate walk in shower is often hard to find in a 4 star hotel never mind a guest house!
They face towards the pretty town of Keswick. If you prefer a front facing view and/or you are very sensitive to some town noise (other than daytime traffic and the theatre car park emptying out at around 10pm it really doesnt amount to much) then perhaps we would suggest looking at our other rooms - but you would be missing a treat!
