“Excellent Fantastic Relaxing stay”
Our recent stay at Howe Keld was fantastic from start to finish, David and Valerie are such lovely warm people that counldn't do enough for you - from being helpful with hints and tips with places to visit and restaurant to cooking the most superb breakfast I have ever tasted. Having never stayed in a B&B ever before and always stayed in 4 and 5 * hotels I was a little uneasy when I booked this trip but I would never hesitate staying there again, the personal touches and the cleanliness was far better than most hotels I have ever stayed in. “Brilliant”
Would just like to say what a brilliant time we both had at your b&b and how suprised we were at the modern decor. It felt more like a hotel room but still had the friendly and prompt service you expect when staying in a b&b. “Very Good Accomidation and lovely staff”
Very clean rooms and really comfy beds. All the staff were really helpful if you needed anything and know the area really well.
The breakfast was great quality and plenty of choice.
We were five minutes walk from the town centre and from the lake.

Fantastic!!”
My friend and I have just returned from our weekend away to the Lake District. We were all very impressed with our stay in Howe Keld our hosts David and Valerie were very friendly and helpful.
The rooms are beautifully designed, spacious and impeccably clean. The beds are comfy with nice fluffy pillows and duvet. The breakfast is amazing and everything is neatly and freshly prepared, I particularly loved the freshly made smoothies and banana bread.

“Outshines all the rest”
This was the second time I have visited. I can understand why Rick Steve's recommends this place. I stayed at another of his recommends and it was not as good or a nice as Howkeld. The team works hard on all aspects and suceeds with cleanliness, service, friendliness of initial greeting and throughout a stay, decor, taste of decor, breakfast and amenities. “Great stay, lovely room, good location.”
We stayed over a very snowy weekend in March. We were treated well, the room was really comfortable - especially the huge bed and the deep bath.
Not disturbed at all by it fronting onto a road and carpark, easy to walk from Keswick out to surrounding area.

“Enjoyable weekend break thanks to Howe Keld”
We have stayed at Howe Keld on a few occasions and the reason we return is down to the very welcoming reception, the great breakfasts and the clean comfortable bedrooms.
The location of Howe Keld is perfect for us as we enjoy the bars and restaurants in Keswick but also enjoy quite a few walks that start from Keswick.
We have recommended Howe Keld to friends, family and work colleagues.
Ann-Marie particularly liked the shower gel and body lotion in our room and has since purchased them from the Pure Lakes website.
