Sure to exceed anyone's expectations. The hosts are delightful and eager to please. The hotel is clean, fresh, and environmentally friendly. The breakfast is amazing, cooked to order, and lacking nothing. A truly fabulous experience!

We have just returned from a long weekend at Howe Keld and wished we had stayed much longer!What First Class accommodation, food and hospitality. We have travelled the world and we are very discerning when it comes to booking accommodation and Howe Keld really does stand out as superb in every way! Congratulations to David and Val - we will definately be returning.

The attention to detail and quality of the rooms not to mention the fabulous food puts Howe Keld on a par with top quality hotels.

What a wonderful weekend we had at Keswick! David and Valerie's hospitality and the superb breakfasts made our stay at Howe Keld one that we will look back on fondly for a long time to come. They definately go the extra mile to make your stay as comfortable as possible and as we were travelling with a toddler that was no mean feat! Thanks David and Val we hope to see you again soon.

We have stayed at Howe Keld several times, and have always enjoyed the warm hospitality of David and Val and the friendly staff. We loved our recent visit. The refurbishment and extension at Howe Keld have been very tastefully and thoughtfully done, and to a very high quality, with sustainable materials. Our bedroom was very roomy, and all the rooms had a warm feel to them. Most importantly, the warmth of hospitality was the same as ever, and the same great food of course. Howe Keld is so well situated in Keswick, it really is an ideal place for a break in the beautiful northern Lakes.

I'm from Australia, having an extended holiday in the UK and Europe. The Howe Keld Hotel is by far the best accommodation I've stayed in during my travels. The quality of room and facilities was first class at a reasonable price. The staff and service were outstanding - could not have been more friendly or helpful. As for the food - let me just say that if I had stayed there any longer, I would have had to invest in larger sized clothes - generous helpings of beautifully cooked local produce. Thankyou David and Val! You can be proud of the work you have done.
