we have just come home from a 3 night stay at howe keld. We have never been in such a beautiful bed and breakfast.We stayed in the junior room and the room was out of this world. Breakfast menu was lovely so much to choose from.No wonder Howe Keld has won top awards .We will definatly be coming back.

Thankyou for a super stay in a great location. Lovely clean and beautifully styled room, with a large bathroom and a quality shower. Wonderful tasty breakfasts with plenty of choice. Excellent service throughout our stay. Exceeded all our expectations.

One thing you cannot be certain of is what weather you will get in the Lake District, but an excellent stay at Howe Keld is pretty much guaranteed. The rooms are first class and well equipped, ours even had a large flat screen television! The food was lovely and the option of filling up your flask at breakfast with tea or coffee at no cost is a great touch, which was most welcome later on a cold walk up on Helvellyn.
We hope to come back soon!

We have just returned from a luxurious holiday in Keswick and I was extremely impressed by Howe Keld in every way. The decor throughout is very carefully thought out and it was a pleasure to spend time in our room after a long day out; the breakfasts were unbeatable in both choice and quality; cleanliness is obviously a priority too, as is a warm welcome and the level of customer care. We will definitely be returning :)

WOW stayed in the snuggley single room very well appointed fluffy pillows towels bed and duvet, breakfast could bust a button and fab location.. do not tell everyone they will all want to stay..

We've just had a small break at Howe Keld for our 10th wedding anniversary. We recieved a very friendly welcome which continued throughout our stay. The guest house is very clean, well presented and the 37in high definition LCD TV in the bedroom was an excellent touch! As comfy as the bedrooms are, whatever you do, don't miss the wonderful breakfast!There are cheaper options, but if you can afford it, Howe Keld is worth that bit extra.

Have just returned from 4 night stay at Howe Keld in June 2009 and had a wonderful time. The luxury room was so beautifully appointed and although we consider ourselves quite discerning could find no faults whatever! As for the breakfasts...we like to eat fruit, organic yogurt,seeds etc. and were not disappointed! We also tucked into the superb cooked fare too!
We were very impressed by the environmentally-friendly policy at Howe Keld which sets an example for others to follow. Thank you all for an excellent stay.

Stayed at Howe Keld for 2 days in May. What a lovely experience - one of the best B&Bs I've stayed in...anywhere. Stayed in room 8 - beautifully decorated, felt like a suite more than a room. Wonderful hosts, great breakfast, even better beds! Wouldn't hesitate to return, highly recommended.

hi just to say we had a wonderful and relaxing stay. The room more than lived up to expectations and the breakfast each morning, especially the porridge, lemon curd and the bacon, were a real treat. We hope to be back soon.
